  Went in to buy tires, salesman gave me a great quote, left truck to get tires, came back to pick up truck only to be told I owed a much higher price. I had to argue and request the original salesman be contacted (I was told he "read the wrong price") I had me quote at my house. After 25 minutes and stating I want my old tires put back on, Pep Boys honored their original quote. Here comes the worst part: Tires were not balanced properly, old valve stems still in rim and I had all 4 tires with 25psi in them. I had to gauge and inflate my tires when I got home.
  I won't ever go back, not even to rebalance and get new valve stems. I would rather pay a private owned shop to do the work correctly.
  Sorry Pep Boys but #1- train your tire guys correctly.
  #2- Give correct pricing (I swear it was a bait and switch deal)
  #3- Lower your prices on your shelf products (your competition is way cheaper)
